All About Ms. Ashley!

"I have been with Little Sprouts since June 2018. I started out as the School Teacher before helping in the Infant Room. I was the Lead Toddler Teacher from Jan 2021-December 2021 before become the Director. 

I have my Bachelor's in Sociology and Master's in Professional Counseling, with an emphasis in School Counseling. 

My favorite way to spend a weekend off is with my fur baby! I enjoy going to the movies, reading and building Legos. I also enjoy a good book. 

I have a 15 year beagle that I adopted in October 2020 named Lacey. She runs the house, and I wouldn't have any other way. 

I love to travel and have been to many interesting places, including Germany, India, out west and down to Florida. My bucket list place would be to visit Salam, Mass. 

My dream job would be a pilot. I would love to be able to travel the world and see more places. 

As much as I love being an indoor girl, I love to hike and see nature. The bravest thing I ever did was skydiving (twice) and ziplining. 

The most rewarding part of my job to be able to make a difference in the lives of the children that come through the center. I care for each and everyone of them, and getting to watch them grow into little humans is amazing. 

Self-care is so important for this job! I always advocate for it. Being present in the moment is something that is so important and realizing that each moment comes and goes, the good and the bad. We keep hold of the good and let the bad ones go."
