All About Ms. Shelby!

"I have been with Little Sprouts since December 2024. I am an Assistant Teacher that usually works with the Young-Pre. I had work experience at Head Start before joining Little Sprouts. I have completed Intro to Childcare, I am certified in CPR and Mandated Reporting. 

My favorite way to spend my weekend off is reading young adult fantasy or mystery books. I also enjoy listening to music, rock is my favorite!

I don't have pets currently, but someday I would like cats!

I enjoy going to Libraries, it's very calming and they have lots of books. 

One thing I would like to learn is to scrapbook. 

My dream job would be to work at a zoo being a zoo keeper. I have a passion for animals and I would love to work with ones from the wild. 

My favorite part about working in childcare is being able to help the kids grow.  The most rewarding part of my job is watching the kids grow into better versions of themselves. 

I am afraid of heights, however I am proud of myself for overcoming that and ziplining in the caves of Kentucky."
